Nash Cup Day 4
Three quarters of the field has now been eliminated. Last night’s action saw top WSA seed Milou Van Der Heijden (NED; 52) nearly ousted. She fought back from a 5-10 deficit in the 5th game to win 12-10 over Julia Lecoq (FRA; 95). Then the first marathon match of the tournament was won by fan favourite Jan Koukal (CZE; 78) 3-2 over 4th seed Muhd Asyraf Azan (MAS; 63) in 82 minutes. The club was packed, and many games went to the limit.
Today starts early with a Barbeque lunch at London Squash from noon-2pm. This is open to the public.
WSA Semi Final matches will get under way at 1pm.
PSA quarter finals will start at 6pm.
